In 2013 people all over the world are celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth in 1813 of Giuseppe Verdi, one of the greatest opera composers of all time. On this occasion Inversedance company also wants to pay homage to the master of romantic and passionate Italian opera.   In the performance “Verdi miniatures”, three of Verdi’s most popular works: Aida, La Traviata and Ave Maria serve as inspiration for the choreographers.

Lóránd Zachár’s new production is inspired by “Aida”. The work aims to represent the end of the Verdi work, the last moments of Aida. Her struggles in the cold crypt, her fears, her farewell to mortal existence and to her love, her increasingly more rapid darting thoughts.
